- During 2004 to 2007, a Heritage Lottery Fund bid for a major programme of work and research over a five year period was unsuccesful
- South Gloucestershire Council (owners of the site) have helped with several grants:
- 2007 £2000 for Ecological Management Plan, scrub removal, fence repairs and removal of part of upper spoil heap
- 2008 £500 for supply and fitting of gate and fence
- 2009 £220 for insurance
- 2009 £1000 for interpretation board and removal of remainder of upper spoil heap
- 2000 a further £1000 for removal of lower spoil heap
- 2010 £250 for insurance
- 2010 £881 for work on entrance path and other site works
- 2010 £667 for part funding for removal of lower spoil heap
- 2011 £187 for insurance
- 2012 £1250 for part funding of repair to retaining wall to north of dramway
- 2010 £1200 from English Heritage (section 17 grant) for maintenance of site (to be used over a three year period)
- 2008 and 2010, B&Q donated a quantity of tools
- 2011 and 2012, the FoRHC is taking part in the SCARP Project which is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. For more info see here
- 2011 An application for up to £6000 to the NatWest Bank CommunityForce grants scheme was unsuccessful, although we are hopeful of getting some volunteers from this scheme
- 2011 £1000 from Westerleigh Parish Council for part funding of repair to north of Dramway Wall
- 2011 £2600 from SITA Trust towards the removal of the lower spoil tip. For more info see click here

- 2013 £500 from Westerleigh Parish Council for part funding of repair to west of Dramway Wall
